Vine charcoal (which is soft and of good quality)
Compressed charcoal (in which gum is also present)
Powder charcoal (used to cover large section and area of drawing)

So charcoal drawing is also black and when it is made on white paper then it gives a black and white view which looks very beautiful and attractive.
